Shanti Sanchez

Shanti Sanchez is an educator and “art-ivist” who teaches, presents, facilitates, and manages creative learning experiences in diverse settings from classrooms and arts venues to retreat centers and intentional community spaces. She also writes, plays music, and studies mystical traditions. She holds the belief that showing up and being present to each moment with openness and deep listening is an ongoing practice of allowing ourselves to respond to our essential need to “humanize” and live life to its fullest.

Shanti holds a master’s degree in education along with years of yoga practice and teaching with an emphasis on devotional practices and sacred sound. Additionally, she completed training at the University of Florida’s Center for Arts in Medicine and with Carnegie Hall’s Weill Institute Lullaby Project. Shanti seeks to help bridge distances between people from diverse social locations using expressive creativity toward deeper empathy, inclusion, and belonging.
